Portrait of Boris Karloff as the Monster

A tribute to one of my very favorite movie monsters. I did this for a little gallery show last fall.
Charcoal and white charcoal on toned paper, 18X24.

BRADYCON 2013

Just a goofy little thing we did for a buddy's bachelor party.

messing around with digital dry brush

I really love that mid-century dry brushed look. I think it's just the coolest. I've long time been wanting to figure out how to do it convincingly digitally, and after tinkering with brushes in photoshop I finally got an affect that I'm pretty happy with. I'd like to do a little more with this and maybe a series of DC girls in this style.

Bronn

An unfinished little wip of one of my favorite Game of Thrones guys. I had started a Tyrion companion piece to go with this one. I'd like to finish them both some time soon.

From a life drawing session months ago. I just found these pictures and I apologize for the gross quality. Charcoal on paper, 18"X24".

a few drawings from earlier this summer...

Realizing I have a long way to go with digital painting...

This is a mythology inspired painting that I did for a concept art class. There are a LOT of things in this that I am not happy with, but there are a couple of things that I was sort of pleased about. I could imagine coming back to this some day and finishing it when I am a better digital painter.
